Sierra Leone’s New Constitution
The UNDP support the Sierra Leone’s Constitutional Review process (under UNDPs “Sierra Leone Constitutional Review Project) shared abridged versions of the “New” Constitution.
According to the Chief Technical Adviser to the project Mr Sana BALOCH, “the abridged draft report (2016) has been produced to highlight the major recommendations from the CRC, for further consideration and validation by the people. Issues are sequenced into thematic areas that have been looked at during the two years inclusive process”.
This summarized report includes new thematic areas that have been proposed as new chapters for consideration in the revised draft constitution.

The CRC requests for interested parties, especially Sierra Leoneans to take interest in the process and to follow the work of the CRC via the CRC’s website , Facebook page and YouTube Channel CRC Sierra Leone.
